They say Disneyland is a magical place – and they’re not wrong! And it’s not just the attractions that make it so amazing. It’s the employees too – they are incredibly devoted to their craft and make you feel like a real part of your favorite stories.
Bruce Jones, the Senior Director of Disney Institute, says a lot of things go into creating a type of workplace that inspires employees to provide incredible customer service but the essential foundation is a common purpose. “Disney’s key to creating magical guest interactions stems from our Cast Members’ understanding of our company’s common purpose, which we describe this way – ‘We create happiness by providing the best in entertainment for people of all ages everywhere,'” says the director.
