Nvidia Reveals Revolutionary New Technology That Can Remove ‘Noise’, Grain And Watermarks From Photos

Published 6 years ago

Nvidia, an American technology company, recently unveiled a new technology that can remove grain and watermarks from photos. The surprising thing is, AI only needs the corrupted images to fix them and no ‘clean’ pictures are required. “It is possible to learn to restore signals without ever observing clean ones, at performance sometimes exceeding training using clean exemplars,” said the researchers.

This new technology will help get clearer images from pictures taken in low-light conditions, such as astrophotography. It could even be used in the medical field, where it would help remove ‘noise’ from magnetic resonance images. More info about the methods used in developing this technology can be found in the recently published paper.

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
