Thomas Subtil is a Paris-based photographer whose work was inspired by the famous Swahili saying ‘Hakuna Matata’ that translates to ‘no worries’. Subtil’s lighthearted photography series started back in 2013 when he traveled to Kenya and was amused by a completely different world. After his trip, Thomas started turning African landscapes into a mesmerising phantasmagoria.
