Handmade Resin Bracelets Freeze Your Favourite Flowers And Plants In Time (Part 2)
Resin is like your own ready-made shortcut to make your own amber inclusion-like jewelry without the wait times of millions of years. Sarah Smith, the artist behind Modern Flower Child store, capitalizes on that with her sweet bangles and bracelets. From flowers and leaves to bits of moss and wheat stalks – everything ends up frozen in resin and sold on Etsy.
“The jewelry I make is completely handmade. From design, to pouring resin, curing, to shaping the piece, it can take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete 1 piece,” Smith writes on her website. “Because each piece is made by hand and not a machine, tiny bubbles, bumps and slight imperfections are part of the unique characteristics of the jewelry.” You can see our previous post on her art here
