Guy Quits Job And Becomes Instagram Celebrity By Taking Photos Of His Travels
“I’m famous on the Internet” can be an actual boast these days. For example, Eelco Roos is a former IBM engineer who’s killing it on Instagram. His specialties are life and travel photography, and his income comes from Instagram campaigns for brands and travel agencies. No matter what he shoots, it’s beautiful.
Eelco Roos worked as an IBM engineer for years. He had a passion of photography, but dismissed Instagram at first, thinking no quality photography could be made with a mobile phone. When he first started using it, his pictures of Amsterdam and the Dutch countryside stood out on then-American dominated platform. Since then, Roos’ popularity soared, he quit IBM, and now lives from photography.
