You Will Try To Hold Your Skull Inside After Seeing These Drawings By Paul Jackson

Published 9 years ago

There’s a skeleton inside of each of us, and it’s yearning to escape. Well, at least Paul Jackson seems to think like it, if his art is anything to go by. His art is hyper-realistic and gruesome, as far as black and white can get. Skulls tear themselves out of heads, leaving behind trails of torn skin and faces that don’t seem to mind. There are some other weird transformations that chill to the bone, but rapid bone extraction is the most prevalent and scary trend.

Jackson is an artist currently based in Toronto. He says that he started drawing when he was five, and, growing up, he knew he would be doing it for the rest of his life. Then Jackson got into a band, toured for eight years until it disbanded, and drew designs for them all the while.

It likely involved more than a few skulls.
