Love Is Colorful: Ad Campaign Shows That Love Comes In All Shapes, Colors And Sizes

Published 10 years ago

Would love your significant others if they were green? ‘Love is Colorful’, an ad campaign by Zim Colored Powder, says ‘yes!’ Depicting three couples – two of them LGBT – covered in vibrant powdered colors, it shows that love can bloom no matter the pigment. Or maybe that love shines in all the colors of the rainbow. The visuals are well aided by the colored powder, since it gives a certain roughness to the images, making them seem more real. It is something that one would be hard-pressed to accomplish with photo manipulation software.

Zim is manufacturer this colored powder, meant for the exact same thing: playing around and being colorful. It is non-toxic, non-irritating and can probably be ingested in small amounts (though you shouldn’t try it, I guess) – and it doesn’t stain clothes, either. The company collaborated with with Tuppi, an ad house from Salvador, Brazil, also known for their striking visual creations.

Wonder if they got paid in powder.
