This Majestic White Temple In Thailand Looks Like A Fairytale
Wat Rong Khun, better-known by Westerners as the White Temple, is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist temple in Thailand. The astonishing beauty of its mind-bending decorations and sculptures attracts Buddhists, photographers and travelers from all over the world.
The White Temple was designed by Thai visual artist Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997. This contemporary architectural masterpiece was heavily damaged by the earthquake in Mae Lao earlier this year. However, Chalermchai announced that the damaged parts of the temple will be rebuilt in two years.
We invite you to explore this architectural piece of art in a collection of the White Temple’s best photographs.
