Restaurant Gives Discount If You Order In Voice Of Famous Character Drawn On Their Chalkboard
These guys, responsible for the amusing chalk board illustrations for the Not a Burger Stand restaurant in California certainly knows how to use chalkboard art properly to promote itself. Each week, Lila and Lyle, their talented chalkboard artists, draw a well-known movie, TV, or cartoon character to promote a 10% discount. But the catch is this – the customer has to order in the voice of or dress up as the character of the week to get the discount, depending on the offer.
The advertisement idea is brilliant and the benefit is two-way – the restaurant attracts more customers and the customers get to have fun showing off their voices and listening to others speak like their favorite pop culture icons!

Got wisdom to pour?
As long as the characters are male, apparently.
Yeah no woman characters :(
Apparently they also have had one for doing Harley Quinn and several of the cartoon characters were voiced by women (Dexter being one example).
I know it’s not a great mix, but they didn’t say it had to be a good impression, and I still think it’s a great and funny idea.
This is quite amusing :)
