Pencil Tip Sculptures By Dalton Ghetti
All Dalton Ghetti needs is a pencil and three basic tools – a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife. He doesn’t even use a magnifying glass, but some of us may need on if we actually wish to see his microscopic works.
Dalton Ghetti is a 49 year old carpenter, now working in Connecticut, USA, who has been carving these amazing tiny sculptures for about 25 years.[1 2 3]
“I experimented sculpting with different materials, such as chalk, but one day I had an eureka moment and decided to carve into the graphite of a pencil” – says, Dalton, who is originally from Brazil.
Got wisdom to pour?
Amazing stuff!
I do the same, just from a marker’s tip.
He must have hell a lot of patience to do these, I would throw away everything the first time I’d break the pencil.
Yes, he doesn’t use glasses, what he uses is electric microscope! :))
