30 Times Designers And Architects Impressed Everyone With Their Creativity And Thoughtfulness
Architects and designers are capable of constructing wonderful things and ‘not so wonderful’ things as well. But those who design and construct friendly and thoughtful stuff are probably the best. After all, we all need a bit of positivity and friendliness around us, even if it’s in the form of some industrial design or architecture.
The subreddit “Friendly Architecture” is dedicated to collecting and sharing some of the most friendly pieces of industrial design and architecture around the world. From a wheelchair-friendly sandbox to a bus stop with swings, scroll below to see some brilliant structures created by thoughtful people.

Got wisdom to pour?
Love them all. But because I am a huge animal advocate, my favorites are the bridge to to avoid killing animals. We should have these everywhere for sloths, koalas, and everything else that doesn’t know how to cross streets, that we kill off.
I love the wildlife overpass and the turtle tunnel thing. I don’t know why we don’t do things
like that here in the US to accommodate our wildlife
I live in California, and I have had the pleasure of seeing a number of large animal crossings over the freeways! They are happening!😍

That was a fun excursion into creative solutions to unsolved but obvious needs. Architecture often bridges the gap between art and industrial design.
How is the wheelchair ramp into the water a good idea?

Humm, well that’s interesting way to send someone to their death
Disabled people use pools too. Actually, this is so common that physiotherapy often involves pool exercises, for example
Because those of us who use wheelchairs can also swim!
Just brilliant! Not a one I don’t like.
Number 14 is in Whangarei, New Zealand.
I love the creativity here! However, I would say the majority of these are not examples of architecture, but industrial design.
I only saw one trash can??
All of these are lovely.
