Thought-Provoking Valentine Cards Featuring Dictators and Philosophers
If you’re the kind of person who thinks roses, chocolates and heart-shaped postcards for Valentine’s day are too banal, try surprising your sweet Valentine with these original and thought-provoking Valentine cards. 22-year old Brooklyn-based illustrator, web designer, animator, writer and musician Ben Kling composed this unique series of Valentine cards with dictators, philosophers and other iconic personas, wittily transforming their names, legendary phrases or unique characteristics into clever love notes.
Sure, the cards with Hitler and Stalin may be treading a thin line, but Kling‘s attempt to encourage us to look at things differently is appreciable and quite successful.

Got wisdom to pour?
Napoleon, despite popular beliefs, was not as short as people make him out to be. Come on guys, 5′ 6″ is not THAT short….
i just don’t get it, what the hell Hitler, Stalin,Napoleon people who are known of war death and suffer have together with Nikola Tesla who actually discover so many genius things like electromotor, phone, tv, and 99 percent of today technology based of his invention ? Malicious kind of mind can put together criminals and inventors
these are all cute except for the hitler one – there is nothing cute about hitler. ever.
Trotsky and Stalin were incredibly evil people, how is the Hitler one not ok but those are?
dude are you crazy?? you can’t compare racism and the death of so many kids and people with Stalin or Trotsky’s deeds.
