This Architect Imagined How Famous Artists Would Design Their Homes (20 Pics)
Federico Babina is an Italian architect based in Barcelona who is known for his unique architectural illustrations. In the past, he tried to imagine how the homes of movie directors would look like, as well as illustrated some mental illnesses as houses, and in one of his most recent projects, Federico illustrated the homes that famous artists could have designed if they were architects.
In an interview with Bored Panda, Federico said that painting, sculpture, and architecture have always been complementary disciplines that influence each, as well as grow and develop along common paths. “A sculpture is like a micro-architecture, a facade can become like a painted canvas, and a building can be shaped like in the hands of a skilled sculptor,” explained the architect how he came up with the idea for the project.
