30 Times Actors Played Out Of Their Age Range And You Probably Didn’t Even Notice
It’s no big news that some actors go to extreme lengths to prepare for a role, like losing and gaining extreme amounts of weight or watching Freddie Mercury perform over a thousand times. But what if the role they’re going for requires them to be older, or better yet, younger than they really are? After all, it’s not like they can travel in time! Well, it turns out that when it comes to movies, sometimes age actually is just a number – as long as you look the part.
Apparently, there are plenty of actors who played roles way out of their age range and you most likely didn’t even notice. Just take actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster – he was 14 years old when he played 7-year-old Simon in Nanny Mcphee! Also, remember Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? The actor that played him, Alan Ruck, was 30 at the time! Check out more instances of actors playing roles out of their age range in the gallery below!
