Man Continuously Tries To Embarrass His Wife During Her Zoom Calls By Hilariously Photobombing Them

Published 5 years ago

During the lockdown, Zoom has become a blessing and a curse for many workers around the world. In a way it’s great, because you can contact your colleagues instantly without any direct contact but on the other hand, every call you take requires meticulous preparation. That means tidying up your room, putting on some clean clothes and combing your hair because you know that any little thing you miss will instantly be noticed by your coworkers. Some people, however, see Zoom calls as the perfect opportunity to pull pranks on their significant others and Cara Fields, the Marketing Chief of Staff at Indiana-based animals health company Elanco, got to experience it first hand.

Every now and then, when Cara is taking a call, her husband will stumble into the background wearing a ridiculous outfit giving her and her colleagues a nice laugh. Cara posted some of her husband’s outfits on LinkedIn and they quickly went viral – check them out in the gallery below!

In an interview with Bored Panda, Cara said her husband always loved wearing ridiculous things in public to embarrass her. “So when I converted our dining room into an office where my camera faced the dining room table, he saw a virtual opportunity to embarrass me during the pandemic,” said the woman.

According to Cara, at first her husband only wore the things he already had in the closet but he quickly began borrowing Halloween costumes from his friends. “I’m told that more costumes are in transit!” said the woman.

Cara says that her colleagues love her husband’s outfits. However, she finds it strange to see a team of people laughing while she’s giving a presentation only to realize something ridiculous is happening behind her.

“They almost always see him before I do,” said Cara. “It has definitely helped people remember to stop and laugh during these times.”

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
