5-Year-Old Girl Recreates Iconic Photos Of Black Women For Black History Month
If you’re unfamiliar with what Black History Month is, it’s an annual observance celebrated in February. During this month, people celebrate historical events and the important achievements of African-Americans. Three years ago, Cristi Smith-Jones came up with a creative way of celebrating this important month with her 5-year-old daughter. For each day of the month, Cristi had her daughter recreate an iconic photo of an influential black woman, resulting in an interesting and unique photo series. The two continue their tradition to this day – check out the photos in the gallery below!
