Zozibini is the third South African to win the title. She participated in her first pageant back in 2017, where she competed for the title of Miss South Africa. Sadly, at the time she didn’t make it to the top 12. However, she participated in the same competition two years later and won the title!
Zozibini shared a powerful message about beauty and body image
“I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair, was never considered to be beautiful. I think it is time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.” 👸🏿 pic.twitter.com/Cqlm7YVTi1
