This Couple Nailed Their Engagement Photoshoot With 14 Hilarious Pics

Getting engaged is an important life event that, like all good things in life, deserves a celebration. And what better way to celebrate than by having a hilarious photoshoot – which is exactly what newly engaged couple Madison Moxley and Mason Whitis did.

The hilarious photoshoot quickly went viral on Facebook and not only got over 9,000 likes but was also shared nearly 12k times.

The 80s-inspired photoshoot was absolutely hilarious

Ugly sweaters? Check. Creepy glasses? Check. Jeans and flip flops? Check. Scrunchie and high ponytail? Check and check.

The photos were taken by Dawn Winebrenner, a 25-year-old photographer who has been shooting JCPenney portraits for almost 4 years. She was interested in photography since around 2010 when her mother got her her first camera. “I have always had a love for photography and a passion for being around people and making them smile. I love to capture silly amazing pictures that are in that moment not posed to be caught off guard pictures. Which turn out amazing,” said the photographer.

“They were a call-in and told me what they wanted. I had some amazing ideas as well and was very excited,” said Dawn. “I have done several of them before, around 3-4, so I had in mind what I was going to do.”

“They came in very excited about the shoot. We both sorta vibed ideas of each other but at one point I even went to google to find some amazing ideas,” said the photographer. “My superpower, I like to say, is posing. I always have ideas on what to do with the customer and where to put them. I loved posing them and creating their vision and make it come to life.”

Even though the couple only met two years ago, both of them experienced a ton of things together during this short period, like bungee jumping, performing improv and breaking bones together.

Madison says that humor is the centerpiece of their relationship and that Mason does whatever he can to make her laugh.

“I never in a million years thought this would blow up like how it did and I’m so amazed that so many people love them. It finally makes me feel like I am on the right path in life and that this is truly my calling,” said the photographer.

“Working with Madison and Mason was amazing, we really worked well together and sorta vibed off each other,” said Dawn. “It was an amazing session and wish all my sessions went that smoothly.”
