The Japanese Surprise Us Once Again – This Time By Planting Gardens In Their Trucks

Published 6 years ago

By now you probably know, that Japan truly is not like any other country, but we have one more surprise prepared for you – it’s the annual Kei Truck garden competition. What are Kei trucks you might ask? Well, they are small commercial trucks, popular in Japan due to their small size – and it seems they’re great for planting gardens, too!

The Kei Truck garden competition is organized annually by the Japan Federation of Landscape Contractors. Every year landscape artists from all prefectures compete who will create the most beautiful and elaborate garden – all in the back of their trucks.

Check out the gallery of these beautiful rolling gardens below!

Aušrys Uptas

One day, this guy just kind of figured - "I spend most of my time on the internet anyway, why not turn it into a profession?" - and he did! Now he not only gets to browse the latest cat videos and fresh memes every day but also shares them with people all over the world, making sure they stay up to date with everything that's trending on the web. Some things that always pique his interest are old technologies, literature and all sorts of odd vintage goodness. So if you find something that's too bizarre not to share, make sure to hit him up!

Got wisdom to pour?
