Man Takes His Girlfriend All The Way To Ireland To See ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers’, Doesn’t Expect Such A ‘Nightmare’
Seeing a totally unbelievable bargain might make you ignore some crucial parts of a deal you’re about to take. The story of Duncan Robb is a great example of how you shouldn’t get too excited before you open up your wallet.
Robb, from Chesterfield, England, was excited to take his girlfriend to Belfast, Northen Ireland for a short but fun stay. He was looking into how they could spend their time there when he noticed what he thought to be the most incredible deal on tickets to the Red Hot Cilli Peppers’ show. The offer seemed like such a steal, he had to purchase them right away, which, of course, was his mistake. Blinded by the urgency, the guy misread the title of the band. What he was actually holding in his hands were… the tickets to the bagpipe cover band, Red Hot Chilli Pipers’ show!
Even though at first Robb was a little bummed out, he still took his girlfriend to see ‘the world’s best bagpipe band.’ “Had flights and hotel already booked, didn’t make any sense to be over there and not at least check them out!” he later stated on his twitter.
And while it wasn’t what the couple would have expected if they got the right band, the night was still fun and definitely a one-of-a-kind experience they will never forget. Scroll down to read the details of the story below.
