This Narrow House In Japan Looks Tiny Only From Outside
This triangular house in Japan looks like an uninhabitable architectural experiment from the outside, but it’s actually quite spacious on the inside.
Designed by Mizuishi Architects Atelier, the 594-square-foot house has made the most of the spot where the river meets the road. It looks extremely narrow and small from the outside, but it incorporates various techniques to create space on the inside. The triangular house has two floors, with the bedroom on the first floor, the kitchen and living room on the second, plus a little family playroom on a mezzanine level accessible by ladder. All the walls are painted white as well, making the place look more spacious and light.
