Stunning 61-Year-Old Model Owns This Swimsuit Campaign And Shares Secrets To Beauty
It’s extremely hard to keep following that path of balanced lifestyle with all the exercises, controlled eating habits and so on, partly because the goal is so abstract and far away. But maybe it’ll help your motivation to see what happens when yo keep at it. Meet 61-years-old model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer, Yazemeenah Rossi.
The swimsuit photo series featuring Yazemeenah is part of a collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and a lingerie house Land of Women. According to Brooke Taylor Corcia, founder of Dreslyn, the idea behind the collection was to stay away from the hyper-sexualized imagery of existing swimwear lines. And Malibu, California-based Rossi was a perfect candidate to portray that: “This is a woman who radiates health and vitality,” Corcia told Huffpost. “She’s confident, she’s a visual artist, she takes care of herself. [This line is] all about being a person who’s well-lived and well-traveled and has intelligence and confidence, and letting that shine through.”

This woman proves that swimwear models don’t have to be young

The founder of Dreslyn said the purpose of the collection was to veer away from the hyper-sexualized imagery of other swimwear lines
She chose Rossi as their model because, she said, “This is a woman who radiates health and vitality. She’s confident, she’s a visual artist, she takes care of herself”
“[This line is] all about being a person who’s well-lived and well-traveled and has intelligence and confidence, and letting that shine through”
But how does she look so good at 61?
“There is no big secret,” she once told the Sunday Times. “All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy”
“I take oil and use it on my skin. I put rapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar, and I eat an avocado a day and organic meat and fish”
