16-Year-Old Artist Makes Her Dreams Come Alive In Her Paintings
While it’s really hard to measure one’s resolve for art, Dimitra Milan is hitting a steady 0,75 Van Gogh mark. This 16-year-old daughter of two artists even chose to be homeschooled so she could study art more. Milan was been exposed to art at a very early age and was a celebrated artist by the time she was 15. And while this has little to do with art, we have to mention that she has three pets, one of them being a dairy goat named Georgia.
“The most important advice I received is the demonstration of a work ethic,” Milan said in an interview my MyModernMet. “They taught me that you don’t always have to be in the mood to paint. You just paint. Every day, for eight or nine hours straight just like any other career choice. Like everything else in life, it’s hard work, passion, and commitment that will make you successful. They not only told me these things, but they also demonstrate it in their own life and art careers.”
