Geeky Photoshoot With Star Wars Family: Rey, Finn And Their BaBy-8

When not pretending to be Finn and Rey, Victor and Julianne are an engaged couple from Utah, who are now getting ready for their wedding in May. And recently photographer Robert Lance has done a pretty special family photo shoot with them: “For this shoot, we went all the way to the desert planet of Jakku, which is located about an hour and a half South of Salt Lake City, Utah. Their cosplay is legit! Not only because they look the part in their hand-made costumes, but they’ve also got a real live BB-8 (baby-8)!”

The pièce de résistance of the whole photoshoot is, of course, the even cuter version of BB-8: “The little astromech droid was such a trooper. There was wind, sun, and sand in the eyes, but she loved every minute of it!”

Photos like these make family photoshoots seem like great fun, but sometimes… well, take a look at some that didn’t go quite according to plan.
