Redhead Portraits By Maja Topčagić Are Full Of Summer

Ygritte is the most famous of the fire-kissed. Yet Maja Topčagić’s portraits of red-heads are no less cool. All the freckles and all the red hair, surrounded, more often than not, by a summer’s bounty of flowers. There’s youth and energy in every picture, the colors are vibrant, and it’s a pleasure to behold.

Maja Topčagić comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has a degree in computer science and mathematics, and freelances as a photographer. “For me, mathematics is an art too,” she writes about herself on 500px. “Everything that we see in nature, we can mathematically describe and write using photography. Math and art are soulmates, and using these very natural things for a human being we can describe our world and our mind.”
