Artist Turns People And Their Pets Into Cartoon Characters
American artist Robert DeJesus (no relation) has made a name for himself by transferring real people into the animated world, and now he’s decided that their pets should come as well.
“I got into drawing and Anime during high school,” DeJesus told Bored Panda. “Years later, when I started attending anime/manga shows as a guest around the US, the Anime caricatures became a favorite with my followers and since then I kept making them.”
If you’d like to see a cartoon version of yourself, you can bid on Robert’s eBay store: “I wish I could draw all of [the requests], but I fear I’ll get burned out trying. My plan was to do these as a side thing to help fund the other projects I am also dying to work on.”
