Highly Detailed Origami Dinosaurs and Dragons By Vietnamese Chemistry Teacher
Paper planes are easy and most people don’t bleed to death while trying to make paper boats. But Adam Tran of Vietnam can make origami dinosaurs – big ones, too. His collection on Flickr is quite impressive. There are, of course, dinosaurs, but also dragons, warriors, critters and the occasional flower. I don’t think that I’ve seen anything pedestrian, like a crane.
One can also witness Adam’s – who’s also a chemistry teacher – longstanding dedication to the craft. Most of the paper critters he designed and folded himself. A few others were designed by other origami masters. And he revisits old folds from time to time to refold them with his newly gained skills. Now this is some admirable spirit!
I’m still waiting for him to make an origami Godzilla!
Got wisdom to pour?
