Awesome DIY Table With Glow-In-The-Dark Resin
If you’re familiar with woodworking or know someone who is, there’s a good chance you can make yourself an amazing glow-in-the-dark table like this one. Mike Warren, the diligent and creative guy behind the Man Crafts column at dollarstorecrafts.com, published an Instructables project that will show you all the details that you need to know before making one of these tables.
According to Warren, all you need is some wood planks, resin, photoluminescent (glowing) powder, basic woodworking tools, and, well, some skill. For his own project, Warren used Pecky cypress hardwood with manually stylized natural voids in it that he later filled with a mixture of resin and glowing powder. The mixture fixed inside the voids is charged by sunlight only to emit this mysterious cool blue glow in the evening‘s dark.
To find out the step-by-step process of this project, check out Warren‘s video below and his text on Instructables.
