Chunky Hand-Knit Blankets For Giants That Also Work For Humans
Don’t show this to your grandma – knitting envy is a horrible thing – but Anna Mo makes the largest knitted sweaters and blankets from the biggest yarn around. At this scale, it looks like her works would fit Goliath rather than one of us. This huge yarn demands huge knitting needles, too!
The wool used in making this huge knitwear comes from Merino sheep. This breed has been known for a long time and comes from Portugal. The sheep are very adaptable, excellent foragers, while its wool is prized around the world. Among other qualities, the wool is very soft and has excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.
Anna Mo. sells her enormous wares on her Etsy. She also sells sets of giant wooden needles and balls of super thick yarn. So you can either make some super-sized knitting yourself, or entertain a really big kitten!
