Adorable Photobooth Portraits Help Shelter Dogs Find Permanent Homes

Cats are undeniable kings and queens of both cute and internet, so they have easier time when it comes to adoption. But dogs need a little help – sometimes from photographer Guinnevere Shuster. Previously having helped black dogs get adopted (Hound of the Baskervilles has done a lot of damage for their image), she now helps the Humane Society of Utah with other mutts. Their aim is to get as many doggies as possible new homes, and they’re doing it through whimsical photobooth portraits. These canine portraits are a good way to show off the hounds as the owners would see them at home: inquisitive, happy, catching snacks, and so on. Squirrel chasing, however, is firmly out of the bounds of the genre.

Lady – Adopted
